Ezacula ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Agreement explains how we handle information related to your use of Ezacula, which helps you document growth milestones for plants, pets, infants, and personal fitness journeys.
We designed Ezacula with privacy in mind. Unlike many apps, Ezacula does not require you to create an account or log in, which means we collect minimal information about you.
By using Ezacula, you agree to the collection, storage, and use of your information as described in this Privacy Agreement.
Ezacula collects and processes the following types of information:
User-Generated Content: This includes all content you create within the App, such as text notes, descriptions, timestamps, and photos you upload for tracking plant growth, pet milestones, infant moments, and fitness progress.
Usage Data: Limited technical information about how you use the App, such as which features you access, the frequency of use, and general usage patterns. This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Device Information: Basic information about your device, such as device type, operating system, and screen dimensions, to ensure the App functions properly across different devices and to optimize your user experience.
Location Data: Ezacula does not collect precise location data. However, if you choose to manually add location information to your entries (such as noting where a plant was purchased or where a fitness achievement occurred), this information will be stored as part of your user-generated content.
Your data is primarily stored locally on your device to maximize your privacy and control. This means your information remains with you unless you choose to back it up or share it.
Ezacula offers optional cloud backup functionality that you can enable or disable at any time. If you choose to use cloud backup:
Local data storage on your device is managed by your device's operating system. You can delete local data by uninstalling the App or using the App's built-in data management features.
Ezacula uses your information for the following purposes:
To Provide and Improve the App: Your data is used to operate Ezacula's core functionality, including displaying your entries, organizing your milestones, and enabling you to track growth over time. Anonymous usage data helps us identify which features are most useful and guide improvements to the App.
To Personalize Your Experience: The App uses your data to create personalized timelines and reports based on your specific entries, whether for plant growth, pet development, infant milestones, or fitness progress.
To Enable Optional Features: If you choose to use optional features like reminders for plant care or fitness goals, your data is used to provide these personalized notifications.
To Ensure Functionality: Basic device information helps us ensure Ezacula works correctly across different devices and operating system versions, allowing us to provide updates and compatibility improvements.
Ezacula does not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
With Your Explicit Consent: We may share your data when you explicitly request it, such as when you choose to export your entries or share photos and milestones with others through your device's sharing functionality.
For Cloud Backup Services: If you enable cloud backup, your encrypted data is stored with a third-party cloud storage provider. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purpose of providing storage services to Ezacula.
To Comply with Legal Obligations: We may access, preserve, or disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (such as a court or government agency).
To Protect Rights and Safety: In rare cases, we may share information to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ezacula, our users, or others, including to prevent or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
Any data shared in these circumstances is limited to what is necessary for the specified purpose.
You have complete control over your data in Ezacula, including the following options:
View Your Data: You can access all your entries, photos, and notes through the App's interface at any time.
Edit Your Data: You can modify or update any of your entries, including correcting information, adding details, or changing photos.
Delete Your Data: You can delete individual entries or entire categories of data (plants, pets, infants, fitness) through the App. You can also clear all your data at once using the App's settings.
Export Your Data: Ezacula provides options to export your data in standard formats, allowing you to save copies outside the App.
Control Backup Settings: You can enable or disable cloud backup at any time, giving you control over whether your data is stored remotely.
Uninstall: Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data from your device, unless you have enabled cloud backup (in which case your data will remain in the cloud until you specifically delete it).
We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You play an important role in keeping your data secure by maintaining the security of your device and not sharing access to your device with others.
Ezacula may integrate with limited third-party services to provide additional functionality. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them:
Cloud Storage Providers: If you use the optional cloud backup feature, your data is stored with third-party cloud providers. These providers have their own privacy practices.
Device Features: Ezacula may access device features like the camera (for taking photos) and photo gallery (for uploading images). These interactions are managed by your device's operating system, which has its own privacy controls.
Ezacula does not share your data with advertising networks or analytics companies beyond what is necessary for basic app functionality and improvement.
Ezacula is designed to help families document important milestones, including those of infants and children. We recognize the importance of protecting children's privacy, and we take additional care with information related to minors:
All information about children in the App is provided by parents or guardians, who are responsible for ensuring appropriate use of the App and any sharing of information about children.
We do not knowingly collect information from children without the involvement of a parent or guardian. The App is intended to be used by adults or under adult supervision when documenting children's milestones.
Parents and guardians have full control over any information about children stored in the App and can edit or delete it at any time.
We may update this Privacy Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App's features, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or via other reasonable means.
The date of the latest version of this Agreement will be indicated at the bottom of the document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Agreement periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
Your continued use of Ezacula after any modifications to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
